How to choose the right green mussel powder?
The green mussel powder must imperatively come from New Zealand. This is the first guarantee of quality.
Green mussel powder is actually an extract of green mussels. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of mussels to get a proper concentration of extract. The indicated concentration must correspond to at least 3000 mg of fresh mussels.
If the dosage indicated on the powder you buy, requires giving a large amount of powder or capsules, the concentration is usually quite low.

Always start with low doses and divide them into 2 doses (morning / evening) to see how your dog is reacting. In general, green mussel extract is very well tolerated, except for shellfish allergies.
